Law Student's Guide to the Law Library During COVID-19 Shutdown

Library Access During COVID-19 Shutdown

U Card Access for Law Students, Faculty, and Staff

As a University of Minnesota Law Student, you have access to the Law Library at all times by using your U Card, including during the shutdown. To enter the library please wave your U Card in front of the card reader adjacent to the glass doors at the entrance of the library lobby.

The glass doors at the entrance of the Law Library are the only points of entry and exit for the library.

Campus Security will continue to provide walkthroughs of the building, though a security monitor may not be available in the Mondale Hall lobby as when on-campus classes are in session.

Only current students, faculty, and staff of the University of Minnesota Law School may use the Law Library during the shutdown.

Please keep your U Card with you at all times, as you will need it to enter the Law Library during the shutdown.
