Interlibrary Loan (ILL) Services
Sometimes you will need a book that is not owned by the Law Library or University of Minnesota library system. In that case, you are encouraged to use our Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service! Note: It may take as long as a few days to several weeks for ILL materials to arrive. You will receive an email message once the item arrives. UBorrow
With UBorrow you can search and request books from 13 major research libraries. You will receive books faster than with recalls or traditional interlibrary loan and you can keep books longer. Try to UBorrow your course books!
Course Reserves
Print copies of books required for Law School courses often are available on Reserve. Law School casebooks are not available on Reserve. Reserve materials may be checked out for a 3 hour loan period. There are no renewals allowed on Reserve materials.
