About This Guide
The University of Minnesota Law School maintains an exchange program with Uppsala University in Sweden. Accordingly, the Law Library makes a special effort to collect primary sources and scholarly legal commentaries published in Sweden. The Law Library purchases translations whenever possible.
Swedish legal materials in print are located on the 4th floor of the Law Library in the KKV section. This guide highlights a selection of those print materials as well as materials available electronically through library or open-access databases.
Table 2 of the Bluebook explains the citation format for Swedish legal sources.
Credits: This guide is based upon an earlier version created by Suzanne Thorpe, former Associate Director of the University of Minnesota Law Library.
Access to some of the databases in this guide is restricted to members affiliated with the Law School or the University of Minnesota Twin Cities campus. Please see our Acceptable Use of Electronic Resources Policy for details.
